HDD:• Indicates IDE channel activity. SAS/SATA drive, SCSI drive, and/or DVD-
ROM drive activity when ashing.
NIC1:• Indicates network activity on GLAN1 when ashing.
Overheat:• Indicates an overheating or fan failure condition when ashing.
Correcting an Overheat/Fan Fail Condition
Check the routing of the cables and move any cables the restrict airow.1.
Conrm that all fans are operating normally.2.
Verify that the heatsinks are installed properly.3.
If the chassis cover is not aligned correctly, the airow may be disrupted. This 4.
leads to overheating. Conrm that the chassis cover is placed correctly.
This LED will remain active as long as the overheat condition exists.5.
