Reset Button
Pins 3 and 4 of JF1 attaches to the
reset button on the computer chas-
sis. See the table on the right for pin
de nitions.
Power Button
The power button connection is
located on pins 1 and 2 of JF1. Mo-
mentarily contacting both pins will
power on/off the system. This button
can also be con gured to function as
a suspend button (with a setting in the
BIOS). To turn off the power when the
system is set to suspend mode, press
the button for at least 4 seconds.

Processor Power Connector
JPW1, JPW2, JPW4 and JPW5 must
also be connected to the power supply
to provide power for the processors.

Main ATX Power Supply
Connector
The primary power supply connector
(JPW3) meets the SSI EPS 24-pin
speci cation. Refer to the table on the
right for the pin de nitions of the ATX
24-pin power connector. You must
also connect the four 8-pin processor
power connectors to your power sup-
ply (see below).
