System Settings
Clicking on the SYSTEM SETTINGS link brings up the SYSTEM SETTINGS page (Figure 7-9).
You can either choose to obtain the IP address through DHCP or decide to configure it
manually. If you choose the manual option, you can configure the D
EFAULT IP ADDRESS
and S
UBNET MASK for the management interface of the switch. If you choose the
D
YNAMIC option, then the IP address is obtained based on the IP Address Allocation
Protocol. You must restart the switch for the configuration to take effect.

IP Address Mode Specifies the IP Address Mode used.
IP Address Allow Protocol Specifies the IP address allocation protocol used.
Default IP Address Specifies the Default IP address.
